CAGD 493 - Spring 2021

Final Post

Goals

In terms of the goals that I had for this semester, it was all about visual storytelling. I have had a lack of pieces in my portfolio that actually tell a story with the things that are in there. Sure, I have some cartoons and things that do that, but I wanted to try to do something that was just a little bit outside of my comfort zone for this series. The initial goal was to get 4-5 pieces out of this semester.

Did I achieve my goals?

Well, in short, no. I wanted to get 4-5 pieces and I only really ended up with three, but that doesn't mean that I did not get where I wanted with them. Overall, I was pretty happy with how each turned out individually. I tried not to take too horribly long on any one of them and they each have their own unique art style to them. On top of that, I was able to get quite a bit of other things in this semester that I am happy to add to my portfolio. Professionally, I don't know that I would show off those other things, but I am happy to have had the experience of doing things like making other concepts, drawing Twitch emotes, and making some more clothes in Marvelous Designer.

What worked and what didn't?

I think the biggest thing that didn't work was trying to make a cohesive art style that was not my own. I got some really good advice last semester from one of my art teachers who told me to stick with my style. He had told me there is nothing wrong with having a specific style unless you choose to only do it halfway. Of course, this semester, I really went against that advice...but you know, lesson learned by doing, right??

In terms of what worked, giving myself a limited time to work on everything and space working on the same thing really helped. I have this horrible habit of hating everything I do if I stare at it for too long so giving myself some in-between projects and things to work on allowed me to always come back to my bigger pieces with fresh eyes.

What would I do differently?

The one thing that I know for sure I would want to do differently is just going with my gut and use the style that I know I can do. Trying new things is fun, but if I am consistently trying to be like other people, nothing is ever going to look the way that I want it to. I cannot say I totally believe this next statement I say, but I am proud of the style that I have created for myself and I want to continue to keep doing things like it. Over my entire life, I have been trying to figure out what exactly it is that I am good at and I think now that I have found it, I just have to stick with it. It's not going to be for everyone and it's not going to be the thing that gets me hired everywhere, but it will get me placed where I should be and, overall, it will be the passion that drives me forward in my visual style.

So what did I make?

First, here are the highlights of my side projects:

(oh I made this one better!)

...and here are the final three pieces in my series (with the newly finished final one)

Week 13: So many things...home stretch!

This week I really wanted to do what I could to finish up the painting that I was working on. I feel like it is at a place where I am not too happy with it...but we will start with other things before we get into that!

First of all, I went back to Emote Land. In honor of Mother's Day, I made one of my mom and in honor of her birthday, I also made an emote of my sister. The two of them have been wanting me to make me to make drawings of them and I finally did it! I keep running out of time to make them and I am happy to have finally done them! I hope that they like them. :)

The next thing that I was up to this week was making something that was requested by Frank. I made a joke about being able to go into Marvelous Designer and design a graduation cap and gown, print the design, and then sew it myself before my own regalia came in the mail. That being said...I didn't actually make the design, but I did make the graduation cap and gown! I started it in Marvelous and ended up in Zbrush to make the cap. So, this is for you Frank!

Zbrush BPR Render

Finally, here is the progress on the painting! I started really taking the time to block in the rest of the color and then add a little more detail. It has taken a little bit of time to get it to a place where I am happy, but I like the cartoon-ish style that I have been taking for this one.

Where We're At!

So...I said finally....but here we are with one more thing! On stream this week, I met my follower goal and told folks that I would draw Pokemon from memory and that is what I did! Do enjoy....lol...

That is all from this week! Hope that you enjoyed all the things! Things are rapidly coming to a close...we will see where we end up!

Week 12: Color is a struggle.

This week, I went back into the project and quickly found out that color is hard. I have never really been a fan of adding color into my work because I feel like it messes things up, but completed works generally have color... :(

That being said, it was first important that I integrated some feedback and finished up the sketch layer of the drawing. I was able to tweak some shadows and add the starting of the people that would be in the photos on the fridge. A big part of this series is the people that it is about, therefore, it was important for me to capture the relationship between the two individuals.

At the end of it all, here was that finalized sketch:

After that, it was about adding color to the piece. I started with the blocking out of the color first the way that I would normally do. The challenge of this came when I was trying to balance all the colors that were on the refrigerator. At first, there were a lot of warm colors and not a lot of cool colors. Then I added too many cool colors and it was chaos. The other thing that I struggled with was making sure that things were looking good next to each other as that is just as important as the colors that you select.

The basic blockout of color can be seen here. :)

This is pretty much where I have left it off at the moment because the color took so long...but one thing that I did do in the meantime created the idea of the wedding invitation that I wanted to be the highlight of this piece. I ended up going into a free online program called Canva to design it as I am not a good designer of wedding invitations (this was also something I learned this week)...LOL.

Another little thing that I wanted to address about this one is making sure that I am capturing the relationship of these two on the fridge. Looking at it, I blocked in the sketches that I started and I think that even with base color alone, I am getting some good posing and relationship. :)

On top of that work, I also was commissioned to do some emotes for a streamer! I was super excited about this project and couldn't wait to get started. Below are the two emotes that I created this week for them:

That is all for this week! It doesn't look like much...but it's honest work. In honor of that, please also enjoy some work that I did for my other classes...

Week 11: Frank did it.

This week, I took my little break week...which was probably not a good idea...but you can blame Frank!! He put an idea in my head and now I can't get it out.

In terms of what I did, I spent quite a bit of time in Marvelous Designer as well as Photoshop making emotes for my Twitch channel for my viewers to use and enjoy!

I will start with the emotes first because they are just so much fun. The first one that I made was to signify this idea of "F in the chat". I don't know that I can really explain the origin of where that comes from....because I don't know. However, it is a common thing and I thought that it was just such an adorable emote.

The next emote that I made was actually in honor of a community challenge that my viewers were able to complete. On one of my next streams, I will be doing some cooking with my friend, Alex. In honor of that, I have an emote of Alex cooking! This will probably not be what he looks like....but it is still uber cute nonetheless.

I really enjoy drawing in this art style and I think that all of the little icons have been coming out so cute! Should this be a thing that I think is really successful, I might even just make it a whole commission thing so that I can make emotes for other people. :)

In terms of Marvelous Designer, I did quite a bit. Something that I have found a lot of practice in is recreating different patterns that already exist. For my project for 331, I was able to do a recreation of the dress from Lily James's Cinderella. I did not do this next image this week, but I wanted to put it here for reference.

The first design that I wanted to do is from a movie called Anastasia. I am oddly obsessed with the Broadway album from that story right now and I wanted to recreate the yellow dress from the animated film in the Once Upon A December scene. You can see the reference and the creation that I made below.

The next design that I went after was on a Twitch stream that I was doing. I asked the chat what they wanted me to do and they chose a dress from the movie La La Land. I ended up picking one, in particular, the one on the movie poster! This one had a little bit of a unique challenge versus the Anastasia dress being really straightforward. The reason was due to the sleeves.....because they are not really "sleeves". They resemble more of just ruffles. It took a little bit of fine-tuning, but I was happy with the final result.

This final design is still a work in progress, but it included a lot of me yelling at the fabric because it was not behaving the way that I wanted it to!!!! I ended up going after Anna's coronation gown in Frozen 2. I knew going in that this was going to be a huge challenge, but I didn't know to what extent... Beyond just being 3 layers of fabric, it was also a challenge that the bodice was not really...connected. After a lot of tweaking, I got it where it is mostly okay...I still have to figure out how to make the neckline stay. The second challenge was in the skirt. Because the over layer has a slit in it, it had the same challenge of the top.

Don't Look At It Too Long...

I am hoping to finish up this design because I am having a lot of fun with it! (regardless of how frustrating it has become)

That is all for this week! Hope you enjoyed and see you next time!

Week 10: Time to start a new piece!

This week, I did decide to be a good egg and I started the new piece that I was talking about last week! For this piece, I think that I might end up going a more cartoon-y route just because of the fact that it will be a little bit more of a challenge to do the thing that I want to do...I am not dead set of this one just yet, but that is where I am leaning toward.

For this piece, I wanted to go for more of a still life that still included the characters that I am making. Below is some reference for the idea that I was going after:

So far, we know that the story of the characters is that they are together and they are going to get married. One of those features I wanted to highlight is the wedding invitation. I think that something that might do well in this case and get the best of both worlds is looking a lot to the art style of the short film Feast because it has a lot of the elements that I am looking for.

In terms of the actual piece, I got a little progress, but it was really hard for me to make something cluttered that did not look busy. I ended up tinkering a lot with where things were placed and how big they would be. Perspective was a little bit of a challenge, but not too big seeing as there was only one point of perspective.

Here is where I am currently at with the piece. I like where it is going and all the little details that I have been adding. It's going to be a little bit of an adventure to add everything in there (I might have bitten off a little more than I can chew...but it's okay!!)

In terms of other things that I did this week, I also made some new emotes for my Twitch channel! I ended up making one that was more of a joke and then I started the sketch for another one. :) You can see both of these below:

That is all for that progress this week! I am hoping to get more progress on that piece because I like it so far next week. :) Other than that, please enjoy some work that I have been doing for my other classes...

Week 9: Break...but I did a piece and the emotes are flowing!!

Instead of starting a new piece like the good egg that I should be, I decided to take a fun week to do something cool: a piece that would be a break. On top of that, I feel pretty cool that I have hit the Twitch Affiliate status and with that, I am able to share some emotes with the world!! (So I started on those)

In terms of the first piece that I did this week, I was streaming some games and at the end, I did a little bit of MS Paint to show some art to the people. I ended up making this upon request from one of my viewers (disclaimer: I made this with a mouse...)

When I told them that I wanted to do another themed piece, someone suggested that I do a "Steamboat Willie" style. I figured that would be a challenge...but a fun challenge. (and it was!!)

I looked for a little bit of reference but was only able to find one image that suited what I was looking for. The rest of my research had to come with actually looking at the cartoon itself.

Reference Image that I used

It wasn't the most perfect reference, but it did what I needed it to do.

After that, I started sketching out some faces. When I make these pieces, I like to draw people that mean the most to me. In this case, it was my friends (and it will probably always be to the end of the earth). I knew that the faces would be the hardest part and this was where most of the personality was going to have to be (since there was no color in the old cartoons)

After that, it was about putting the bodies on...and this was another challenge. Since I didn't have a solid reference for posing, a lot of that had to come out of my head. I ended up looking a lot at the old Mickey Mouse poses and that was helpful, but it still wasn't that helpful.

Then came the hard part...the linework....and I'm pretty dang awful at line work. It wasn't perfect, but it did the job!

Then I had a huge battle with myself about whether or not I wanted to stick to the actual style of the Steamboat Willie art (which would only be black and white) or if I wanted to put a little bit of my own take on it. I ended up with going a little bit of my own take because without that, it became a little bit monochrome and you lost a lot of detail...

At the end of it, I added a few finishing touches to make it look a little bit more like the cartoon...and here's where it ended up! I am pretty happy with how it turned out and I hope that you like it too...

In terms of the emote, it has been a little bit of a journey. I was having a huge struggle with the style that I wanted to go after and I think that I finally landed on something I like. It is super cute (in my humble opinion) and it definitely represents me! This one is still a work in progress, but it will be done and ready by my next stream!

A Hype Emote In Progress

That is all for this week! I don't really have much else to show off from other classes (and I kind of don't want to because I'm not super happy with how the stuff has turned out....but yea!).

See you next time with a new piece and some more progress!

Week 8: Oh dear...many trees.

This week, I decided to go back to the piece that I was not too fond of and I made something of it! The thing about it was....I had a hard time making it something that actually looked like the thing that I wanted. I will chat with you a little bit about that down below.

First and foremost, last time that I showed this off, Frank told me something super important and that was basically to put the people in my shot and then work around them. Though this wasn't necessarily super helpful, it actually did allow me to give myself a little bit of a direction with the piece and show me where the anchor for everything would be.

With that in place, I decided to work on everything else....and oh lord that was a huge struggle. Originally, this was the side panel. I added some more trees to the foreground and kind of let them develop themselves, but it. just. looked. so. bad.

I couldn't figure out what it was, but the more that I looked at it, the worse it got. Ignore the fact that everything is just roughed in...but it's legit horrible, just the composition itself.

I knew those trees had to go...I didn't quite know what yet so I looked up some more reference imagery...here was something that caught my eye:

I'm not quite sure what about this image really caught my eye, it might have been the bright colors, but I think that this image allowed me to think about the direction that I wanted to go with the piece that I had.

Then I went back to the drawing board and I came up with something....a hill! It was a lot of tinkering and blending and making colors go together, but eventually, I came up with something that melded better and didn't just give me 10,000 trees.

After that, things just started falling into place! I was able to add little details here and there, work on the lighting a little bit, and then I was pretty happy with the end product. As I mentioned before, I don't want to spend a ton of time on these pieces, but I want them to look like something that would be a nice concept piece; the bigger thing was that it needed to tell a story. Below, you will see a nice before and after: where we started and where we went...

Where We Started

Where We Ended

I still see some flaws in it, but honestly, I think that from where it started, it has made some good progress! It's been a moment since I did a landscape, for this to be the product, I was happy with it!

Anyhow, that is all from me this week! Please enjoy the work that I did for some other classes and I will see you next time with a new piece!

My Pride and Joy

Week 7: Emotes, Commissions, and Animations...oh my!

So. just when I thought I caught a break...I didn't. I ended up getting calls and requests from folks to make things for them and I could not help but oblidge! I figured that this was a good gap week that I could take as well as a chance to do some things that will not burn me out in the long run.

That being said, I first started with some Illustrator work! One of my friends girlfriends has been running a vegan bakery business and needed a logo. I ended up asking some questions as to what the name of the business was and what her favorite color was, but that was pretty much all the direction that I was given. With that information, I was actually able to make a bit! I don't know if she will like it, but I can always make some tweaks (they're pretty easy to make in Illustrator).

I had a little bit of an issue when it came to the bag of flower, but I ended up using a clipping mask to get the texture that I wanted and I felt that it added to the look and charm of the logo.

The next thing that was requested of me was some animations for an upcoming show back in my hometown. These have pretty much taken up a lot of my time this week as they are a little bit of a process to make. I was not given much direction, but the show is basically a big poetry reading for kids. The director of the show told me that they wanted simple, cute drawings with no color. Again, not a ton to work with, but after reading the script and being able to watch the show, I got two done this week!

Buttons the Robot

Monster that eats icecream

I am not sure how many he wants, but I know I need to finish them up by April 4th. So far, he says that he loves what I have, so I am excited about that! The show is adorable and I cannot wait to see it with all the animations I have for it.

Lastly, I decided to take up a couple personal commissions for emotes. One of my friends is starting to do a little bit more Twitch streaming and I thought that he needed a new icon for his channel. I decided to make sure that I start a trend with the emotes and icons that I make, so I made sure that he matched not only mine, but another friend's that I designed.

A new icon for the ChuckinFicken

On another project, I just wanted to do something simple and fun for myself so I ended up making myself a new Discord profile picture. This project was a lot of fun for me because I was able to get the line work done in Illustrator and then I added the color back in Photoshop.

Yamper Ditto :)

There were a ton of little projects that I did this week and I am pretty happy with how they all turned out! I wished that I had been able to do even more work, but a lot of hours were put in in various different areas....it's amazing how much of a time suck things can be (especially when you love them!)

That is all for this week! Enjoy some of the work I have done for my other classes. :)

(also, just a note, I have been using Marmoset Hexels for these and it has been pretty fun to learn more about!)

Week 6: I thought of a story (for the next two)

Just as the title insinuates, I have made a story for the two little characters that I have created....

John and Rose are going to start their lives together.

It's not the most drawn-out story, but it's perfect for what I want and takes me to my next point! This week, I started the next piece in my sequence. With this particular piece, it is less about the characters themselves, but also the environment that they will be in. I want to put a little bit of detail into the background to show that I can make environment pieces as well.

In this scene, the two will be seen on the cliffside and John will be proposing to Rose in this scenic landscape. My plan for the piece after will be a little bit more of a still life. I was inspired by a line in one of Taylor Swift's songs called "All Too Well": We were dancin' round the kitchen in the refrigerator light. I will let that sink in for you, but that is the next step after this piece!

First, I started with looking up some reference imagery for the thing that I wanted. Nothing really captured this idea that I had in mind, so I ended up turning to a lot of different references...

The idea here will probably be a lot of cool tones again so that when I bring in some brighter, warmer colors to the characters, they will stand out among all this scenery.

I wanted to challenge myself this time too. I decided to just start slapping paint down...which I never do...I like to start with a sketch and build up from there, but this time I said, let's try something new! It looks a little wonky, but I need to trust the process...

After that, I just kind of started to fill in the gaps. I have been giving myself a lot of time to get into the texture of things, but the key component was that I wanted everything to still look painterly.

I was able to make a brush out of the one tree that I made, but I don't know that I am entirely happy with it and even if I have the shape, it will take a lot of hand painting to still not make everything look the same and to give it the color variation that I desire. The cliff gave me quite a bit of struggle, but I knew that if this was where I was going to house my characters, it was important to make it have a little bit more attention than other areas.

So that is all for this week from me! I am happy to be moving pieces so quickly because it makes me focus on things but not hyper criticize myself for it!

The Progress So Far...

With that, enjoy this other work that I also have, and see you next week!

Week 5: Finalizing Things

Lots of back and forth and a four-hour stream later, I was able to get the piece to a place where I felt comfortable leaving it!

I was really in a place where I didn't want to add faces to anything because I am horrible at faces on humans, but I thought that I would take up the challenge and let myself really dig into everything. Many faces later and deleting every layer in the world, I was able to get some faces on the people that I was creating.

I kept running into an issue of not only making things look super cartoony but also at the same time making it look creepy or having the eyes be too far apart or being devoid of life.

I ended up going with something that was a little bit cartoony still but also with a little bit of life in it so that I could still give some kind of emotion to everything.

I also took into consideration some of the feedback that I got from people a few weeks ago...
  • I moved the right arm (his left) of the man to make sure that he didn't look too awkward.
  • I gave myself a little bit of color correction to the couch and the background.
  • I fixed the lamp...
After incorporating that and doing some more fine-tuning, I was able to get the base paint!

Once I had done that, it was time to get cracking on the lighitng. I tried a new technique for this lighting that I had not done before where I basically start everything in the darkness and slowly bring it back into the light using layer styles. Before adding the light back, it looked a little something like this....

After all that was said and done, I added a quick mask and gave it some light! Before I show you the final product, I want to say that I am pretty happy with everything that I have created for this piece. It was definitely a tricky one, but I am glad to have had the challenge. I took something that I was not used to and did it! 🤗

Just so you have a little bit of insight as to what I have been doing in the rest of my classes, here are some of the highlights along with small little caricature sketches that I did as well.

Work in Progress

Hope you enjoyed all of this from the week! Cannot wait to start something new next week! 🥰

Week 4: Taking a Break

After about three weeks grinding out the same piece, it was time to take a much-needed break. I needed some time to really think about the piece that I was working on because I kept coming back to it, making changes, and ultimately, not being happy with the progress that I was making. My solution: take a break and work on something small...so that's what I did!

Don't get me wrong...I was still drawing.

Anyhow, Bungie, a AAA game studio that makes a game called Destiny 2 recently posted a plethora of new job openings because they are expanding their company. Now, I am not the biggest Bungie fan to walk the Earth, but I really do like Destiny 2 and the world that it has created for the characters. In this break, I wanted to make a piece that was Bungie-inspired to, potentially, throw into a portfolio to apply to their company.

I am not the most familiar with their style, in fact, my style is a little bit the opposite of what is happening in their work, but I figured it was worth a shot. Because their characters are so anatomically proportional, I knew that would be a challenge for a one-week break. Therefore, my solution, find a "character"...I hope you know where this is going...a ghost!

This week, I decided to design some ghost shells that the universe had not yet seen. Bungie has such an array of ghost shells, Destiny-themed and quirky and fun. With that quirky in mind, I went and sketched out some designs that I thought might be fun.

I drew out the base ghost first and then built the shell around it

After that, I showed it to my Destiny-loving friends and asked which ones they thought I should render. The rest is history!

I am pretty happy with the shells that I ended up with. Though they aren't perfect, they are enough out of my comfort zone and something that I am happy to show off.

Next week, I will get back to the other piece, but for now, please enjoy the work I did this week. (as well as some pieces featured below from other classes)

Week 3: Adding in Details

This week, I had the challenge of making it look like I was making progress on my piece. It has been so hard for me to actually sit down and continuously work on a piece long-term...and this was no easy feat. That being said, I started to add on some more details this week.

After making the figures, I started blocking in all the other colors in the piece to make sure that I was getting a nice base down on everything. Once I had the really big patches of color in places like the lamp, the couch, the table, and the bowl, I started making them look a little bit more painterly.

The couch gave me grief first because fabric is not something that is easy to do. It was helpful to have the render to work off of because it showed me some folds and where things would naturally be shadowed, but it was not a perfect system. Other little cracks, crevices, and highlights were needed to make sure it really fit the look of the piece. On top of that, it was a lot of painting over and smudging and painting over again and again in order to get the mix and painterly feel.

A second render to add some more detail on the table

The the table. You see, it wasn't the table that made me want to explode, it was the things on top of the table. I had originally only had the bowl and it looked really empty. I ended up going back into Maya to block in some more things to draw on top of....then the glass happened. You don't quite understand how long the glass was finessed and redrawn. It still doesn't look amazing to me, but it is somewhere.

I'm not particularly happy with it, but this is how the glass currently sits...

Next week, I know that I really need to work on lighting the piece and putting the finishing touches on so that I can keep to my schedule and move to the next piece. I'm a little horrified by these next steps because I also have to potentially add faces and hair....so we shall see how that goes.

The perfect faces...brought to you by the snipping tool.

I am pretty happy about where this is at, but I know there are more details that I want to add to make this piece great.

Hope you like the progress, see you next week!

Please enjoy these other pieces that I did for my other classes as well...

Week 2: Blockouts and Beginnings

This week, I was beginning the first of my pieces in the series. Like I said last week, I wanted to go after emotions and stories in the finished products...what those are at the moment, I am not 100% sure yet, but I will definitely be formulating them as I go.

I told myself that I might want to go after a vision board this week, but I thought that I would just jump right into it...that seemed more fun to me and I figured that I would be getting better results out of that.

I learned a technique a while back about getting perspective just right in a piece: render it. I had never thought about that and then I tried it and my life was forever changed. I knew how to navigate Maya...so I have no idea why that was not a thought in my brain. That being said, that was where I started this week!

...this was just too funny not to share...

This first piece I wanted to capture a scene of a couple watching a movie. The emotion that I wanted to capture was this idea of comfort and security with the person that you care about. In order to start all of this, I went to Turbo Squid to get a model of a sofa and then I sifted through my old projects to get a few more assets. I set the scene and then threw some models in.

We love a good stock photo

In terms of things that gave me a little bit of distress and problem this week, it was the posing of the figures. It took me a while to pose them in such a way that they looked like the two figures looked like they care about each other without looking uncomfortable. Even the slightest movement of the arms or the chest would make the biggest difference. After a couple of hours, though, I think I finally got it to a point where I was happy. I then rendered and then composited the render with the AO render of the scene.

After I had done that, it was time to paint! Before I started painting, I wanted to get a little bit of reference on the style that I was going after because it was a little bit out of my comfort zone. I was talking last week about how I liked the Disney/Pixar style that looked very painterly and this image from Monster's University was a good reference:

When I started painting, I didn't know how much out of my comfort zone this would be. It took me a very long time to get the look that I was hoping for, but I think I have finally gotten to a point where I am happy. After that, it was just doing the work. I was able to get a grounding and the initial figures this week and I am pretty happy with the progress!

That is all for this week, until next time!

Week 1: Concepts and Inspirations

In terms of the project that I would like to go after this semester, I want to focus on fully-rendered concept pieces. When I was attending various job info sessions, something they determined that they wanted to see in portfolios are pieces that have been fully rendered, researched, and tell a story. With that in mind, I figured it was time to move past the sketch and really dive deep into rendering my pieces and giving them meaning.

I have always been in love the Disney and all that they do. For the holidays, I was given the gift of a book containing artwork from the new Pixar movie, Soul. This book is gorgeous and the more that I look at it, the more I find this passion in the things that I want to do. I have also been looking on the web for other Disney/Pixar concept images and I felt that this was a great place to start for the style that I wanted to go after. In my concept pieces, I am hoping to get a very painterly look out of them.

Concept Art from Frozen

Concept Art and Final Frame from Coco

In my pieces this semester, I would like to follow a couple. My pieces are often inspired by my own experiences and I am hoping to let my own life give some inspiration to the final products of the semester. I will not give too much away in the direction that I want to go, but I will leave it at that.

Here's a good hint... ☺

In terms of a timeline, I would like to get (over the next 14 weeks) 5 pieces done. The first piece I will make a two week project (just to get the ball rolling, but on all the other pieces, I will take 3 weeks. I will have you know, that math took me way too long to figure out and I don't spend too long on my pieces....it will be a new challenge!

Hopefully, I will be able to end with some pieces that I am really happy with this semester! More to come next week! 🎨
